This past weekend Halevy Life hosted the first ever New York City “Persuasion Boot Camp,” created and conducted by the esteemed guru of human behavior, Dr. BJ Fogg.

Holy cow was I excited to see ballet wunderkind Beatriz-Stix Brunell (she’s only 19!) on the cover of POINTE (a.k.a the only ballet magazine that matters). If you live in London be sure to check out her at the Royal Ballet, where she was recently promoted to soloist.

It talks a bit about my attempt to be a “super-hero,” but not sure I agree with that — except for the desire to be a business one! (And in reality, give me a break — how many high school kids can run a sub-5:00 mile anyway!)

As a follow-up to my Huffington Post article on NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s Soda Ban, I made an appearance on Fox 5 Reporter Lisa Evers’s radio show to discuss why I am, surprisingly enough, AGAINST the ban. Find out why:
So, even with a banged up knee, I was able to eke out a sub-6:00 mile and finish 7th in my media team heat (how appropriate that I ran with ABC 7!), with a time of 5:56 at today’s NYRR Fifth Avenue Mile in New York City. So while I didn’t post Lagat and Manzano times…not too shabby for a 205-pounder ;)
I will repeat and attempt for a sub-5:30 next year!
