Privacy policy

Effective November 1, 2026.

This policy covers jeffhalevy.com, run by Jeff Halevy (“we”). It explains what the site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect

When you send an inquiry

Your name, email address, the reason you chose, your company or organization if you give it, and your message. We also record the date and time, the page you sent it from, your browser’s user-agent string, and a one-way hash of your IP address, which we use only to limit spam.

When you subscribe

Your email address and which list you chose (the monthly note or podcast launch news). Mailchimp sends a confirmation email first; you are only added once you confirm.

When you browse

The site sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or remarketing tags. We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which works without cookies and does not collect personal data.

Why we use it

To read and answer your inquiry, to send the newsletter you asked for, and to keep the forms free of spam. We do not sell or rent your information.

Who handles it for us

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept as long as we need them to follow up and keep a record of our correspondence. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email with one click. You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by choosing “Other” on the contact form.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the effective date above.
