What makes Jeff different

He has built under three capital models

Apex was bootstrapped. Altis was venture-backed, with $10.5 million in seed financing. Continuum was built with private capital. Each model asks different things of a founder, and he has run all three.

He built AI that coaches human movement

Altis was an early AI company; Jeff started working on it in 2018. As its cofounder and CEO, he built AI and computer-vision technology that analyzed movement and coached it in real time. It debuted at CES 2022, and Altis was acquired in 2023.

He built an AI-platformed wellness club

Continuum was an AI-platformed, fully integrated wellness club in New York’s West Village: a single source of truth and execution that used biometric AI to deliver each member’s plan, with a team of allied experts under one roof. Jeff founded it and led it as CEO. He founded it in 2023, and the club opened in 2024. It was well received by both the media and the market from the start. Continuum reached multi-million-dollar ARR within 18 months. Continuum was acquired in 2026. The Continuum archive.

He has brought his message to millions of households worldwide

Through network and syndicated television, Jeff has reached millions of households around the world. He was a health correspondent for NBC’s TODAY, including the “Six Months to a Six-Pack” series. Workout From Within with Jeff Halevy premiered in 2013, ran for four 13-episode seasons – 52 episodes total – and remains in international syndication. Selected video.

He put wearables to work in public health before Oura or Whoop existed

Years before anyone was talking about Oura or Whoop, and before either company was founded, Jeff created Our Power for Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! initiative and used wearable technology successfully to get people moving. The program debuted in Newark while Cory Booker was mayor.

Brand engagements

Selected brand engagements include Dove, ASICS, Aflac, and AIG.

Jeff’s work today is shaped not only by the companies he has built, but by personal loss that changed his understanding of identity, purpose, and what comes after an ending. Grief stripped away easy answers and made the questions more urgent: Who are we when familiar roles disappear? What remains? How do we choose what comes next? Those questions now inform his writing, speaking, and advisory work.
